As the school year wraps up, we at Capital District Youth for Christ are getting excited for the ministry that happens over the summer! The summer provides us with more opportunities to build relationships with kids, whether on trips/events or simply grabbing ice cream with them. We've found that taking students outside of their regular environment and placing them in a new one gives us greater opportunities to build deeper relationships with them and to share the love of Christ. We are running our Summer Launch Campaign to help cover the cost of summer ministry. This will cover scholarships, programming, and staff expenses to be able to take kids to conferences in New Jersey, trips to the Adirondacks and Christian concerts in the area.
Our collective goal as a ministry is to raise $50,000 and my personal goal is $5,000. Would you please consider helping me reach my goal by donating to the Summer Launch?
