Holy Face Billboard Project

The new location in Hillcrest is awesome.  Hopefully, some of you have done a drive-by.  Sadly, this will be the last update on Waygiver.  We don't qualify with the financial entity that takes care of the donations for Waygiver.  We have to be a 501 3c or a business and we are neither.  What we are is a group of Catholics who love The Lord and our faith and want to do all that we can to spread the Good News.  We will, however, continue this campaign via our EMSD email (teamemsd@gmail.com) so we will continue to accept donations by check.  Please address the check to EMSD and send to 9915 Dichondra Ct., San Diego, CA 92131.  Thank you again to all who have supported this ministry.

We are now halfway through our Hillcrest run.  We hope you can do a drive-by.  Because of it's location (it's on the 6th Ave. egress to northbound 163), we're not able to meet there for prayers, but it's location more than makes up for the loss.  We would like to keep moving Jesus around San Diego, but alas! we are at the end of our funds.  This campaign ends the beginning of November.  Thank you to all who contributed.  The future is in God's hands!

Update#4

We are now halfway through our Sunset Cliffs run which will end July 11.  If you're in San Diego and haven't done a drive-by, I hope you can before then.  Some of us prayed there on Ascension Thursday and then walked the neighboring streets distributing rosaries and holy cards.  We had quite a few takers.  We will do it again on June 25 at 5:30 if anyone is interested in joining us.  You can contact us at teamemsd@gmail.com.

Starting July 13, the billboard will be up in Pacific Beach at Grand Ave. and Lamont St. for two months.  Again thank you so much for your prayers, support and donations.  Team EMSD

Update #3  As you can see, the Holy Face billboard is up!  Praise be Jesus Christ and thanks to all who have donated to this project!  We would love to see this duplicated in other cities/states so please share with your family and friends.  (We will be happy to help.)  If you're in San Diego, please do a drive-by.  It's on the left side of Sunset Cliffs Blvd. as you're leaving Ocean Beach, just a little bit past the Jack-in-the-Box and providentially next to a pot shop.  Please pray that this poster touches many lives.  Stay tune for more updates.  We're working on keeping this up here or perhaps in another part of San Diego for as long as we can. 

Update #2

Thank you again for donating to this project.  We're now in the process of signing the contract for not 1 month BUT 2 months!  Because of the negative impact on our economy, Clear Channel is offering what they are calling a Covid Q2 Stimulus price of $900 per 4 weeks!  Of availability, we've settled on a location on Sunset Cliffs Blvd. facing West which has about 71,000 views.  If we can raise more money, we'll leave it up (or possibly move it to a new location) as long as God permits.  If you are able to, please share this site with friends and family.

First off, we want to thank all of the donors and we wanted to give you an update.  The good news is that we're excited to be able to show you a mock up of what the billboard will look like.  (One of our EMSD members is a very talented graphic artist and she offered to work on the project.  Let's us know what you think.)  The bad news is that due to the Covid-19 virus, traffic has dwindled on our highways as you may have noticed.  Since we don't have the funds needed to execute it any way at this time, we decided to delay the implimentation of the project for a few more weeks and to extend the date of collecting donations.  Please share this project with your friends and family.  We all need Jesus more than ever!  As soon as we know where it will be placed, we will let you know. Thank you again!
