Campaign
Greetings

June 21st 2021

Hello,

Greetings to you in Jesus’s name.

My name is Jonathan. A little bit about me and what I am writing for. In June, this year 2021 I set up this Christian campaign.

One of my desires and the reason for this campaign is to have a Christian children’s book published and readily available for the public. A book that I hope touches the hearts of many and puts Jesus in our homes for families to read over and over again.

Would you please help bring this book to life, by donating and or by praying?

A gift of $50 or any amount would help go towards a $4000 target.

I understand that you may not be able to donate to my campaign but could I ask please, for your prayers.

I would love for you to take a look at the manuscript (please see below) of the book, which is titled “The Thankful Heart”

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

[16] Rejoice always, [17] pray without ceasing, [18] give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. ESV

Peter sits at the dining table deep in thought.

It was Thanksgiving and Peter sat around the table and thought to himself, what am I thankful for today?

Page 3

A closer look at Peter in deep thought.

As he thought, Peter was soon reminded of the many blessings that he had to be thankful for.

Page 4

Looking out of the bedroom window, Peter sees a beautiful sunrise and some early birds singing.

He remembered the soft glow from the warm sun as it rose up in the morning and of the gentle songs from the bird’s that were singing too.

At the table for breakfast, Peter eats Pancakes with Strawberries and maple syrup along with a glass of Orange juice.

He remembered having breakfast, with Pancakes and strawberries, maple syrup and fresh orange juice... and a chair and table for him to have his breakfast at.

Page 5

We now see Peter outside with his friends.

He remembered the clothes that he had to put on that morning and the friends he had to play with outside.

Page 6

A collection of beautiful flowers dancing with the wind.

He also remembered seeing those pretty flowers in the morning too and the way they danced when a soft wind came by.

Page 7

We see three vehicles, police, fire and medic.

He remembered seeing a police car, a fire truck, and medics and how they were there to help keep the people safe.

Page 8

A military man with all his uniform coming out from his home.

He remembered seeing his neighbour too, a military man, in all his uniform, coming out of his house and how he also was there to help keep the people safe.

A very grateful Peter travels in the back of his parents car.

Shortly after, Peter remembered taking a trip to the grocery store and being able to travel by car.

Page 9

We see an abundance of food at a grocery store.

Upon arriving at the store, he remembered and was amazed at what he saw, there were rows and rows of food and drink. God had truly provided for their needs in abundance.

Page 10

Peter arrives back home from the grocery store.

Later that day, Peter came home and remembered closing the door, he took a deep breath in and looked around. He was so grateful that he had a house to come home to.

Page 11

Back at the dining table, Peter is deep in thought.

Peter knew he had much to be thankful for, some of them were big and some of them were small. But he knew that God was there all the time, looking after him and being there for him.

Page 12

There are many things to be thankful for. Like Peter, some of them are big and some of them are small, but perhaps the greatest gift of all, is that we can have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, his son and our Lord and Saviour.

Thank you God

Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good,

for his steadfast love endures forever! ESV
