My name is Kimberly I am 50 years old and I am married with 3 children and 2 grandsons.I am a Christian. I attend church every Sunday and Wednesday. I love my church family. My long journey started one morning when got up and couldn't move. I went to see the doctor and was told I had OA arthritis so bad both hips and knees was going to be replaced so I did both hips at one time then both knees. Later on I noticed I wasn't getting better on my right leg I couldn't raise it. The doctor couldn't understand why my hips looked good. I was sent to a spine Dr. Who done a lot of test... MRI. Lumbar puncture. I was told I had MS. Lesions on my brain!!! I always had headaches but never knew it was MS. Few months passed and my vision was going out in my right eye. My right leg,arm and hand by now are very weak..I fall a lot. So I had another MRI...more lesions this time one is on my optical nerve..causes vision loss. So now I need more eye test/ glasses. I have a bacterial infection in my stomach. I will be on antibiotics for another month maybe longer. I had to have my esophagus stretched out cause of problems swallowing. I found out I have a liver disease...and need more test and treatments. I am not doing good today. I need to be fit for brace I need a roller walker.i need home care. More medical equipment and the bills are taking us over. I don't want to be burden to my family but I need my medical care. I need special food to eat cause of my liver. I need money for gas and maintenance on my car so I can drive 2 hours away to the doctor.
