Each year Thomas and Kimber choose a charity to support in honor of their birthdays. They have each packet shoeboxes in the past but this year wanted to put all their effort in and participate on a larger scale. Operation Christmas Child is a worldwide outreach that allows children and families to receive the Gospel and experience God’s love through a simple gift filled shoebox. Many of these children live in underdeveloped areas and struggle to have their basic needs met so the idea of a special gift just for them is beyond their wildest dreams. When the children receive their gift they also receive the Gospel and Plan of Salvation in their native language. This year our family has bargain shopped all year to be able to find special gifts to fill 60 boxes. We are asking for help to send those boxes where they are needed. It costs $9 to provide the printed materials and to process and ship each shoebox to a child.
