The recent Super Typhoon Odette completely devastated Surigao and destroyed Pastor Tabile's home and church, and caused great destruction to the community. Roofs and buildings were blown away and the Church devastated. Pictures on Instagram show the Church as it is now after 16th December 2021.
Prior to the Typhoon the Church has been serving the Community for the last 50 years. Pictures show the Ministry of the Christian Life Ministry Church led by Pastor Dominador Tabile.
Pastor Dominador has been supported in the past by American Churches, and recently the World Ministry Press donated thousands of tracts in Cebuano. The Bibles were donated by Lawrence Perry in the UK through the Bible Society.

To rebuild the existing Church it will cost 300,000 pesos, and Pastor Tabilie's House 500,000 pesos. We have asked to raise US$50,000 so that we can rebuild the community.

My name is Lawrence Perry I am a retired district nurse, and President of International Development at the Commonwealth Entrepreneurs Club in London, UK. I am not particularly photogenic - the pictures certainly tell the story. I have had a bash at creating this video, I suppose I could have done much better if I was there on the ground in Surigao, but the typhoon knocked out both the electricity and the internet. I also hear that is is continuously raining and many families find it very sifficult to obtain shelter.
