Makhanda Against Mandates

MAM is finally coming into the home straight in our legal battle with Rhodes University. Our urgent applications to seek interdictory relief on behalf of students and staff were unfortunately lost with costs. In the meantime, the university proceeded to refuse registration for unvaccinated students, halt the salaries of its unvaccinated staff, and terminate their employment contracts due to incapacity.

We had two dubious High Court judgements against us, both of which involved cost orders against us as MAM and also against us as individuals in the executive of MAM. 

We are desperately appealing for your help in footing this bill.
