THC Mission Brazil 2025 STME (Jeremiah Leith)

The Hills Church (THC) is partnering with Camp Roots for a short-term mission effort (STME) in Itu, São Paulo, Brazil, to run a camp for local kids and students. The Leith Family is fundraising for our very own Jeremiah to be sent in support of the Church's mission to make and grow followers of Jesus as recorded by Matthew (28:19-20). Dear Family, Friends, and Way Givers,

     I am excited to share with you an opportunity to influence an untold number of stories yet to be written in the lives of youth over 5,000 miles away from my home in Texas – Mission Brazil 2025! This coming July 10 through 20, it is my hope and desire to encounter God and be transformed like never before by GOING (with The Hills Church Student Ministry), SERVING (the local community of Itu, São Paulo), and BEING (a link where Heaven meets Earth). This is YOUR INVITATION to get involved in the mission by helping to send me!

     The focus of the mission in Itu will be providing support to the community’s marginalized and sharing the Good News of God’s Kingdom while learning about a way of life different than our own and its many challenges. We will be teaming up with a local organization called Camp Roots to ensure our efforts are impactful and meeting the needs of those we’ll be serving.

     I have previously participated in local mission efforts in Fort Worth and Waco, Texas, and have seen God move in mighty ways in the lives of others. This will be my first opportunity to articulate my faith being a witness for Jesus in a foreign land. I believe this mission will allow for deeper growth in my journey following my Lord and being obedient to His commands to love God and love others.

     The financial provisions needed to send me total $2,500 covering travel expenses, lodging accommodations, meals, and project materials. Funding is due on May 31. The prayer provisions needed are just as important. I am asking for and need your support to make this mission possible. Would you please prayerfully consider getting involved?

     If you would like to support me in prayer and/or with words of encouragement I would love to open and read a letter from you while in Brazil on a date of your choosing.
