My name is Amanda Renae Spencer, and I’m walking through one of the hardest seasons of my life. A sudden spinal cord injury has left me paralyzed and in intensive rehabilitation. Each day comes with its own set of challenges — physically, emotionally, and spiritually — but I’m holding on to hope and trusting that God is walking with me through every step of this journey.

I believe He places people in our lives for a reason, and I’m humbly asking for your help during this critical time.

While Medicaid helps with some basic needs, there are many essential things it doesn’t cover — and that’s where I need your support.

What Your Support Will Help With:

• Transportation to and from important medical appointments and therapies.
• Help for my mother, who has been my greatest earthly support — traveling back and forth, caring for me, and making many sacrifices to help me recover.
• Medical supplies and personal care items that are not covered by Medicaid but are crucial to my daily comfort and healing.
• Transitional support to prepare for life after discharge — including temporary housing, in-home modifications, and equipment for safe and independent living.

This injury changed my life overnight — but my faith has kept me grounded. I believe that even in suffering, God has a purpose. I don’t know what tomorrow holds, but I know He’s using this moment to bring people together to help lift me up.
