Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Anjalkumar Gamit, I am 28 years old and currently residing at 42, Karbhari Faliyu, Village: Indu, Vyara, Tapi District, Gujarat, India. I come from a humble background and live with my family, my father, Mr. Ashvinbhai Gamit (age 59), my mother, Mrs. Gitaben Gamit (age 52), and my elder sister, Ms. Arpitaben Gamit (age 30), who is currently pursuing her nursing studies in Bangalore.
Due to our poor financial condition, I had to start working at a very young age. I began working in stores after completing the 8th standard, which affected my academic performance and resulted in my failure in the 10th standard. Later, in 2012, I joined a local Tours & Travels office in Vyara as a multipurpose employee. My responsibilities included everything from cleaning the office to managing various daily tasks. However, I was never paid a regular salary. The owners would occasionally support me with travel expenses or small goodwill amounts, claiming the business was not earning enough.
In 2022, I was assured that I would receive 20% of the profit from bookings and tasks I managed. Unfortunately, I was only assigned low-profit and labor-intensive tasks, and to date, I have not received any share of the promised earnings. Despite this, I remained loyal and worked tirelessly, often for 18 hours a day. I continued in the hope that my efforts would eventually be rewarded, but now, the same employer has asked me to look for another job, without settling the years of work and support I provided.
My father, once a driver, can no longer work due to age and health, and my mother works as a farm laborer. I have been the sole provider for my family and my sister’s education. To manage household expenses and support my family, I have taken loans and used credit cards. Over the years, I have somehow managed, but now I am overwhelmed by debt and unable to make ends meet. My debts are around 11,00,000/-INR. it has become really hard for me to repay because the monthly accumulated EMIs are around 60,000/-.
Despite these challenges, I never gave up on education. I have recently completed my MSc in Cyber Security with 71%, and I wish to restart my life with dignity. But the financial burden and responsibilities have left me with no means to move forward. I don’t even have enough money to fuel my motorbike, which was provided by the office and will be taken back if I leave.
Throughout the years, I have also tried to help others, including students and flood victims, even when I had very little. But today, I am in a situation where I am seeking help. I kindly request your support in any possible way. I am confident that with a little assistance, I can rebuild my life and, in turn, support others who are in need, because I truly understand the pain of financial hardship.
I am attaching my educational certificates, bills, loan statements, and photographs for you to look over.
My Pastor also helped me with a 200K INR Loan. but now the situation is like I am not able to repay him the amount I have got, but he is repaying the loan.
Thank you for taking the time to read my appeal. Any help or guidance you can offer will be deeply appreciated.
Sincerely,
Anjalkumar Gamit
