Andrew's Service Trip to Peru
Will you help him on his way?
Andrew will be embarking on a wonderful adventure to Peru this Spring for 8 days and 7 nights through his school.
- On this School Service Trip to Peru, the students will be working in an indigenous village. They will be immersed in the Spansh language and communicating with local people to participate in locate community projects and needs.
- They will be working along teachers and students at a local school for children with disabilities. While there they will help with building repairs, or install a piece of needed adaptive equipment. They will take breaks by playing with the children and helping with meals.
Students will then go on to Kajjlarakay to learn about their langauge, lifestyle, and culture, as well as, work with community partners to build a needed water infrastructure.
Other sites visited for cultural immersion and learning will be Maccu Picchu, Cusco, Ollanta.
