Indonesia and Malay people

We are planning a mission trip to Indonesia to visit a missionary who, by God’s grace, built a Christian university—something that once seemed impossible but has now been firmly established. The school relies heavily on external funding, as many of the students come from rural areas, and others are refugees from neighboring countries who cannot afford tuition.
The ultimate goal of this university is to raise up Christian leaders and to plant more churches throughout the region. During this trip, we hope to gain a deeper understanding of their plans and the specific needs they are facing.

My husband is praying to serve in the area long-term, praying our mighty Father to open door to reach Malay people in Malaysia, where the law prohibits Malays from becoming Christians. When one choose to believe in Jesus truly love the Lord—renouncing everything and not fearing even death.

This will be our second trip from the United States to the region. For the main long-haul flight of 11 hours, only middle seats are available. We humbly ask for prayer for our journey, as well as for provision so we can give financial support to the school.

This is my first time raising funds for a mission trip, and we are not currently on the field to know their most immediate needs. I may return later to share more and to invite prayer and support for a larger campaign focused on the seminary project and church-planting efforts.
