Darrin is a 52 year old father of three. He and his wife, Heather have been married for 30+ years.
Darrin received a kidney transplant from his sister Darci in October 2014. Unfortunately, this kidney has failed and Darrin is in need of another transplant.
While he awaits a transplant he is undergoing dialysis treatment three times per week. He will be receiving at home dialysis equipment soon and will be learning how to operate it
While his employer has been more than willing to find ways for him to continue working, Darrin's health has impacted his ability to work in the same role and at the same rate. This change impacts his family, in addition to the medical expenses of dialysis and a transplant. As the transplant nears, his ability to work will be impacted further.
Darrin and Heather are faithful believers in the Lord, Jesus Christ and are members of Cross the Line Church in Lincoln, Nebraska. They have also been excellent stewards of the resources the Lord has provided them.
