Investing in the Next Generation: Equipping Me to Serve Children and Families

My name is Divya, and for the past eight years I have been serving among children and families in communities with limited access to educational and developmental opportunities. My passion is to see children grow in character, hope, and purpose, and to support families in building stronger foundations for the future.

Through this work, I have witnessed the challenges that many children face—lack of guidance, limited resources, and few opportunities for positive development. Yet I have also seen how encouragement, mentorship, and community support can transform lives.

I have now been given an opportunity to participate in a two-month international training program focused on community and social development among children and families. This training will equip me with practical knowledge, new skills, and valuable perspectives that will strengthen my ability to serve children, families, and communities more effectively for years to come.

This opportunity represents more than personal growth. It is an investment in the children and families I currently serve and those I hope to reach in the future. The training will help me develop programs, strengthen community engagement, and expand my capacity to make a lasting impact.
