Hello friends and community,

I am stepping out in faith and asking for your help. For 11 years, I have successfully provided for my son, but after choosing to walk away from an illegal work environment, we have hit a major financial crisis. Our deadline to move is here, and I urgently need to raise $2,000 to secure a safe, cheaper 1-bedroom apartment for us. Local charities are completely out of funds, and my church is unable to help.

I have always paid my rent on time. So I’ve never been in this situation before. Four months ago, I made the difficult but necessary choice to stand by my Christian values and quit a full-time job that demanded unethical and illegal tasks. I filed a complaint with the Realtor board and they’re investigating my boss and old company (I’ve attached a photo).

Since my unemployment ran out on June 8th To keep us afloat, I stepped into gig delivery work as an independent contractor. Unfortunately, this work only offers routes when they need help which has been just twice a week. So I’m still on the search for full-time work with a steady and reliable schedule.

Since my landlord agreed to use my deposit for June’s rent I have to be out by 6-30 or he’s filing eviction. Which is something that I’ve never had on my record. I found a cheaper 1 bed apartment but I have no money for move in since I just started this part time driving job. I've called every resource in my area, and everyone is out of funds and my church can’t help.

I am raising funds to help cover the moving costs, first month's rent, moving truck, and security deposit. Asking for help is not easy for me, but I am humbling myself and trusting that God provides through the kindness of others.

Even if you cannot donate, your prayers for our safety, financial breakthrough, and a smooth transition mean the world to us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
