“Jesus, hear my cry tonight.”
Those words began as a prayer and became a song. In some of my hardest moments, I’ve found comfort in knowing I can come to Jesus exactly as I am. I’m grateful for the ways He has met me there, and I want to share that hope with others.
I’m Bev M, a Christian singer and songwriter. In February 2026, I felt God asking me to share the music He had placed on my heart. I started with no followers, and by His grace, this community has grown to more than 40,000 people across my social platforms.
I was so grateful when “Grace Looks Good on Me” was played on a radio show in the US. I’ve also been honoured to receive nominations at the Maranatha Global Gospel Awards. I’m thankful for the band who bring these songs to life with me, and for everyone who has listened and encouraged me. All glory to Jesus for every door He has opened.
I’m working on an eight-song album, and I’ve shared live performances of some of the songs on my socials. I hope to keep developing and recording them so I can share the finished album with more people.
I previously co-founded and co-hosted Bridging Continents Through Christ, and I’m grateful for the conversations about faith that came from it. Now I’m launching Ninety Nine For One, with its first episode on Tuesday, 29 September 2026. Inspired by the shepherd who went looking for one lost sheep, it’s a space for honest conversations about Christian life. We’ll explore marriage, finances, friendships and other everyday experiences through the lens of faith, and invite guests to share their testimonies.
My hope is that each conversation reminds someone that they matter to Jesus.
I also share faith through two other podcasts: the weekly Selah Fridays With Bev, offering short reflections to keep our eyes on Jesus, and The Selah Sleep Method, with Scripture, prayer and reassurance for peaceful rest. The podcasts are all available on Spotify, Amazon Music and YouTube.
Alongside my 12 year old daughter, We developed Selah Kids: Bible Stories to help children get to know God’s Word. (Available on Instagram, TikTok & YouTube). I’m grateful that we can share His love with people of different ages and in different seasons of life.
I’m raising US$10,000 to help create and share more of this work. I plan to put around US$5,000 towards professional strategy and marketing support. The remaining funds will help with production of the album and podcast, live events with my band, and a portion of my living expenses while I dedicate time to creating and sharing this ministry. I’ll keep supporters updated on how the funds are used.
